Painterly abstract artwork "The Last Curtain", abstract digital art in abstract expressionism art style by Karin Kuhlmann.

Artwork Title: The Last Curtain
Karin Kuhlmann 2003
Medium: Digital Art
Art Style: Abstract Art, Expressionism

Description: An image full of melancholy and optimism: Just as there is a first time for everything, there is also for everything one last time .. the moment when the last curtain falls. A final applause and that was it. However, this does not mean the end. It is always also transition and emergence of something new not only in a spiritual sense.

Series: Poetic Lyrical Contemplations. I worked on this series since 2000 to capture moments, moods and memories. The artwork “The Last Curtain” is based on fractal flames, done with KPT5 FraxPlorer and artistically edited with Adobe Photoshop. The focus of these digital creations are color, subjective perceptions and emotions. An outstanding feature of this series in abstract expressionist style is the high translucency and the painterly quality of the images. The high quality of the digital file allows large fine art prints up to 60 inch.

The abstract painting “Last Curtain” belongs to a series of “Poetic Lyrically Contemplations” by Karin Kuhlmann.

Fine Art Prints: The high quality of my abstract digital works allows large fine art prints up to 60 inch. Each print is individually printed from the original digital file and can be shipped worldwide.
